Awareness metrics measure activity, not capability
Most security teams can report a completion rate and a phishing-sim click rate. Neither one predicts anything — they measure whether someone clicked "next" on a slide deck, not whether they can actually spot and stop a threat.
The psychology is clear: changing behaviour takes both the ability to act securely and the motivation to do so. Without measuring both, it's impossible to tell a knowledge gap from a motivation gap, so the wrong fix gets applied every time.
The Human Risk Dashboard is being built to close that gap directly. It takes the signal that already comes out of the two simulations — who drives an incident well, who spots and reports social engineering — and maps it into a live picture of who your champions are and where teams need support, on motivation or on ability.
